M-GURUSH, the new dawn of technology
M-GURUSH is a locally owned South Sudan’s pioneer mobile money platform offered in partnership with Zain that provides a fast, easy safe and convenient way to send and receive money across the country. m-GURUSH has a wide network of agents, across South Sudan to facilitate customers to register send, receive, deposit and withdraw money.
Last year 27th April 2020. South Sudan’s first Mobile Money service, m–GURUSH has launched its International remittance service on their Mobile Money Platform. The service was launched by the Governor of the Bank of South Sudan Hon. Jamal Wani Ab dalla. With these new services, our customers should be able to send money outward to Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania. They cane also receive money inward from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and India.
Customers will now be able to send money across East Africa and beyond. The customers will be able to send this money digitally in form of US Dollars or South Sudanese Pounds from their m-GURUSH account from the comfort and safety of their homes. The international remittance service will enable m-GURUSH registered customers to send and receive money to several countries across the globe using mobile money.
The Gurushie AI Bot.

M-GURUSH has also launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled Chatbot and it is called ‘Gurushie’. This is yet another groundbreaking innovative feature from m-GURUSH. The AI Chatbot service allows m-GURUSH users to interact on WhatsApp. Gurushie can handle queries such as registrations, service queries, airtime top-up, Mgurush Pay and other transactions. It will also provide information on all m-GURUSH services, location details about Customer care centres and nearest agent locations. To access Gurushie on WhatsApp, customers will first need to save Gurushie’s mobile number 0912 188 811 on their phone’s contact list then send a WhatsApp message “Hi”. The Chatbot will then navigate the customers through an exciting journey of various solutions and offerings.
While commenting on the new service, Hon. Mou Ambrose Think, m-GURUSH Chief of Operations said, “m-GURURSH is constantly devising innovative ways of providing the best experience to our customers by investing in technology and services that are designed to delight our customers and give them the best experience.
Gurushie will add to the already existing self-care options including USSD – *355# and the innovative m-GURUSH application. Using AI, Gurushie will be able to constantly evolve and learn from the interactions it has with customers to provide more accurate responses. Later, Gurushie also will be available on our Facebook page, our Website, on Alexa and other channels.
